United StatesI've been a fan of Sonnet James since the Kickstarter days. This is one of the first dresses I bought; I wore it for a photoshoot with my husband in Paris -- swoooon! I am obsessed with it, and the other many SJ dresses I own. They are comfortable, functional and darling. If you've been contemplating purchasing a dress or two, I highly recommend you just do it! One won't be enough though, just a fair warning.
United StatesLoved the dress, the fabric is so wonderful! But the dress does not love me. Too tight in the bust and hips. I'm 5 3/4" 138lbs. 40"/32"/39" I am 65 and don't want to "show off" my curves anymore!

This has to be the most perfect everyday dress ever created. Dress it up with heels, down with sneakers. Tie a scarf around your neck, throw on a cardigan or a chambray shirt over it. However, you CANNOT nurse in it. This may seem obvious because of the neckline, but I read another reviewer who said they were using it for breastfeeding. Since it was so awesome, I decided to take a chance to see if you can nurse in it. I was so sad that I couldn't. I seriously almost kept it anyway. The fabric is lovely. A little thick, very soft, and very forgiving on a postpartum body. The good news is, there are other lovely Sonnet James dresses for nursing. Try the Marni (I have it in 2 colors) or the Margot if you are still breastfeeding. I wore them throughout pregnancy and now for nursing and they are awesome. If you're not nursing, buy the Reese. Now. You won't regret it.
